Episode Highlights

  • Early decision means you are making the decision early and so is the law school. Some application deadlines happen in the Fall or very early in the Spring.

    • You are committing to a law school that if you are admitted, you will attend and withdraw applications from the other schools as soon as you find out.

    • Check in with your school to see if they have early decision scholarship programs

    • If you don’t abide by the early decision commitment, the school has the right to revoke your admissions.

  • If you are not admitted through early decision, there are three paths:

    • 1) Your application is moved to regular decision

    • 2) You have to reapply through regular decision

    • 3) You are not given a chance to reapply at all and plainly not admitted
