Anna Fernandez joined Washington and Lee University School of Law in November 2023. As the Assistant Director of Community and Recruitment, her work focuses on the recruitment of members of groups underrepresented in the practice of law, as well as building community and belonging by working closely with students and student organizations. Anna comes to W&L Law from Penn State Law School, where she was the Assistant Director of Admissions and J.D. Diversity recruitment. She has worked in higher education for over six years. Originally from Puerto Rico, she holds a BA in Education from the University of Puerto Rico and an MA in TESOL from the University of Central Florida.
